Setting Language Selection
It is easy to set your language alphabet selection on the keyboard. There are three language selection keys (L-Keys) which are programmed to save up to six language alphabets, two per key, that are set-up in a selected keyboard layout. Changing the language requires a toggle of the L-Key. The toggle function requires a double click on the L-Key.
The programming the L-Keys require the following steps:
1. Press and hold one of the L-Keys until it starts blinking; then the alphabet displayed will default to English
2. Next enter the preset abbreviation of the desired language (see list of available languages with their preset associated abbreviations, below)
3. To confirm that the programming is set click on the L-Key and see if the alphabet language selected appears, in the format selected*
*Some languages have multiple keyboard layout options to select from, so, each layout is associated with digit 1, 2, 3 etc. For example: the Russian-language the abbreviation on the L-Key is “RUS”. Say the desired layout you prefer for Russian is number 2 in the selection gallery. Therefore, the programming on the L-Key shall be “RUS2.”
Below are the available language alphabets, with the L-Key abbreviation needed for programming the language albphabet in the Salutel keyboard.
